These SMS Terms & Conditions govern the Highmark Dental Care text messaging program and should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. Program Description
Highmark Dental Care sends text messages such as appointment reminders, confirmations, scheduling updates, recall/recare reminders, and billing notifications. These messages are informational and are not marketing.
2. How to Opt In
You may opt in by submitting your mobile number through our text sign-up form, by providing and confirming your mobile number with our office, or by texting us first. By opting in, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages at the number you provide.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your appointments and account activity.
4. Cost
Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier and plan. Highmark Dental Care does not charge a fee for these messages.
5. Opt Out (STOP)
You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will send a one-time confirmation, and you will no longer receive text messages from us.
6. Help (HELP)

7. Consent Is Not a Condition
Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services or of receiving dental care.
8. Carrier Liability
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
9. Privacy — No Sharing With Third Parties
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your SMS opt-in and consent information with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
